November 1995

The November Project in 1995 is puncuated by two trips: to Charleston, West Virginia and to Grayling, MI. Overall this year the project consisted of photographing small, tabletop still-life arrangements of assorted found objects. In several cases only minor changes were made so that the viewer has to work to notice them. This tactic was a way of questioning what Art is and what it could be. It also builds tension from page to page because natural anticipation is not fulfilled.
